HOVIP - Heads of the Valleys Innovation Programme

Heads of the Valleys Innovation Programme

delivered by business people for business people

HOVIP ceased on 31 March 2011

The Heads of the Valleys Innovation Programme (HOVIP) was open to any business (or social enterprise) in the boroughs of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Torfaen.

HOVIP helped over 275 businesses achieve more than 1.6 million pounds in mainly new business (an ROI of 209% on public sector funding), contributed to safeguarding over 4000 jobs and raised the profile of the region.

HOVIP received welcome support from the Welsh Assembly Government and sponsors. Despite the current economic climate and being recognised as the UK Enterprise Support Initiative of 2010, HOVIP has ended.
