The beauty of real wood blinds from Jensen
As a well established but small company providing quality products backed up by a professional and personal service, Jensen Blinds and Interiors recognised the importance of coordinating and maximising all marketing activity. Support from HOVIP enabled the company to develop a marketing action plan, increase the flow of quality leads and develop valuable partnerships.
Based in Caerphilly, this husband and wife business has over 18 years experience of providing quality curtains, blinds and interiors. The company provides a personal service to the domestic market across South Wales, offering quality, style and design at competitive prices.
The company recognised that whilst they have good marketing materials, they had no action plan in place to use these to their best effect. A further challenge was to create a steady flow of leads and increase the number of orders, and to ensure Jensen is clearly differentiated from its competitors
HOVIP provided support to Jensen Blinds and Interiors to develop a marketing action plan with clearly identified tasks, timescales and responsibilities. A core element of the action plan was to assist with the development of a computerised database of past customers and prospects for use in proactive marketing campaigns.
The HOVIP project manager also worked with the company to identify potential partnerships to enhance their sales and marketing activity. This included investigating opportunities for potential joint ventures, sharing of best practice and access to expert advice.
Richard Evans, Director at Jensen Blinds and Interiors, said, "The support we have received from HOVIP has exceeded my expectations. As well as on-the-ground support to develop our marketing, we have accessed support through the Workforce Development Fund for additional training and have also become a founder member of Build4Wales."
